We just kicked off the spring portrait season here in Seattle and are thrilled to have recently photographed Mila’s “Sweet Sixteen” session all around downtown. Portrait sessions don’t have to just be for your Senior photos, they can be to celebrate ANY milestone you deem important in your life (from 8th grade graduation to college graduation!).

We started at one of my very favorite (and iconic) parking lots in the Seattle downtown area with a view of the “Moore Theatre” behind. Fun, right? This cute outfit is the perfect crossover between seasons. The bright orange sweater with a mini skirt and ankle boots is the PERFECT outfit choice.

This location was perfect for the cool overcast day we had in April. The lighting was amazing from every angle, and we were able to utilize so many cool parts for different textures and backgrounds.

For Mila’s next outfit she paired high-waisted jeans, a vintage tee and a pastel colored denim jacket. I love how classic (and on-trend) this look is all at the same time. Jeans, white sneakers and a tee will always look good in photos.

We just love Mila’s smile! Pulling her hair back into a quick pony-tail gives her another look and adds to the casual vibe of the outfit. Bring a scrunchie or a hair-tie to your session to add a bit of variety to your looks.

don’t forget to book your own session with us! Class of 2020 are booking summer dates – and our calendar fills up quick

Next we ventured down to the Pioneer Square district to check out Union Station and King Street station – both beautiful and unique locations (and great ideas for when you need a rainy-day location)

We love this look so much! White jeans are a must-have in your wardrobe and look so fresh in photographs. Paired with this matching top and cardigan, hoop earrings and layered necklaces bring this elevated look all together.

For the last outfit, we walked across the street to King Street Station (another iconic Seattle location known for it’s white interior). Mila wore her favorite black dress, with a turtleneck layered under, and a denim jacket over.

I’m screaming because I love this entire session so much – and this last outfit was the perfect way to end Mila’s photoshoot. This look perfectly encapsulates her charm, wisdom and poise.

And who can resist that gorgeous smile! Mila you are simply RADIANT.
